I saw on the Hoya talk board the Hoyas came to check out Alfred Hollins and for me this is a definite yes! He has good size at about 6'5. He's from a rough part of San Francisco and he's not soft. He can play defense, rebound and score and his jumpshot is improving. But most importantly I really feel his best basketball is ahead of him. I think he'll eventually be a very good college player because he has all the tools of a high major wing.
A former teammate of his with the Oakland Soldiers and at Sacred Heart Cathedral's dad is coaching one of my sons for sure and possibly both so I'll ask him to find out more.
