I know we are all conditioned in some way to think we should be landing 4 and 5 stars but how do you all rate the talent that Ewing has brought in so far in his first 5 months:
1) Trey Dickerson -- grad transfer PG
2) Jahvon Blair -- freshman guard
3) Chris Sodom -- freshman center
4) Jamorko Pickett -- freshman forward
5) Grayson Carter -- 2018 forward
for me -- given the mess and stigma that he inherited, this list is pretty damn impressive
I was devastated to find that RT was hired but it has been pretty quiet on that front. And it seems like Ewing might be possibly using Pops in the right way (as support without true power). Seeing Carter post a pic with Pops reminds me that the guy is a true legend and in the right situation an asset.
Obviously what happens on the court is going to be the ultimate measuring stick, but I'm very cautiously starting to think we might be in good hands.
