Villanova has the quickness and defensive tenacity to neutralize North Carolina’s size and post scoring. And, Villanova’s prowess off the bounce will be very difficult for North Carolina to stop.
The blueprint is simple, play the Heels man-to-man, and when the ball is thrown to the post, double teams should immediately come. In other words, do not double team the post when the player has the ball. Double team the player when the ball is in the air coming to the post.
