I'm so done with the refs and Josh. It's unreal how badly they ref him. Last night is a prime example. Chrabascz just kept pounding him over and over in the back which should have been a clear foul several times and then Josh literally just turns around without pushing into the guy and he's called for the foul. Now I know Josh does do several stupid fouls a game out of frustration and that's on him and also infuriating. But he shouldn't regularly be put in the position to be that frustrated. I wish JT3 would send tape to the refs and show them how absurd it is. It's not a josh thing. It's a college basketball and big man thing in general. They've really taken a lot of the advantage out of having a true big altogether. That leads to my next point.
In some weird way, it may be to our advantage that he's been called that way all season and we are very used to playing without him. I feel like in many big games and the tourney, refs tend to call fouls on bigs (that OSU tourney game when Oden and Roy got in foul trouble comes to mind) so teams that rely on bigs can find themselves at a big disadvantage. At least if that happens this year, we are ready for it.
