are up front.

they run carolina break...gotta get back and find.

they also key most stuff off robinson the guard, including pick and roll. they also have a motion, and players that can rock off that off the bounce and shoot.

my man the coach suggested Hoyas offensively:

"they (monmouth) have some big men that can't defend pick and roll...pick and roll defense is bad".

If you can score out of pick and roll..."Then they will go zone".

their "bigs are not mobile. they can run straight forward but not side to side".

run "...all ball screens. all ball screens".

defensively to stop robinson:

"i would rather make him drive it and our taller defenders stay conntected and make him finish over size"

he would also "would run sombeody at him". in fact "i'd send him to the side where non shooter is, and trap him".

that last suggestion is icing a ball handler, thereby denying the pick and roll and limiting options. don't know if the hoyas really do that.

the coach thinks dsr could KILL, if used in the pick and roll...given the terrible pick and roll defense displayed by monmouth's bigs.
