This year’s Villanova team reminds me of the Connecticut National Championship team from a couple of years ago. Back then, Connecticut was the clear underdog against Kentucky, even though I thought the Huskies were the better team. This year Nova is regarded as the second or third best team remaining in the Final Four with North Carolina considered the best of the of the remaining teams.

In the NOVA and OU game I believe NOVA will not allow Buddy Hield to beat them, and I am not a believer in his supporting cast. NOVA will probably mix zone with box-in-one principles on Hield or play man-to-man with J Hart forcing Hield to attack the rim to help defenders. Regardless of the defense NOVA will make Hield take difficult shots and make him give up the ball due to relentless double teams. NOVA’s ability to attack of the bounce will be crucial in this game. I expect NOVA to shoot a lot of free throws, and they should beat OU by double digits.

The HEELS and CUSE game will be very entertaining if you are a G-TOWN fan. My purely objective opinion is North Carolina 100 and the CUSE 50 (SMILE). Nough said.
