pretty thorough guide of the top 100 available in which Yurt7 ranks #99

here is his write-up and credit to Sam Vecenie:

99.

Omer Yurtseven | C | Georgetown | Birthdate: June 19, 1998 (Age: 22) | 7-0 | 265 LBS | Hometown: Istanbul, Turkey

BREAKDOWN: True center with a ton of offensive skill. Has been on the NBA radar for around five years now. Went to NC State originally and struggled a bit as a freshman under Mark Gottfired. When Kevin Keatts took over in 2017, Yurtseven was much better as he gave him a bit more freedom. Yurtseven averaged 14 points and seven rebounds that year and declared for the 2018 NBA Draft. Ultimately realized his stock wasn’t quite high enough, but instead of returning to NC State he decided to transfer. Went to Georgetown to play under Patrick Ewing, and really flourished this season after sitting out 2018-19. Averaged 15.5 points and 9.8 rebounds while dominating in the post. Ultimately, his game is just an anachronism now. He’s a pure post big who is a significant liability defensively in space. That’s a tough sell, especially given that he’s not a particularly good rim protector either. Has showcased the occasional ability to hit 3s, but he’d really need to become an elite stretch option for this to work. I don’t see it, but even if he doesn’t make it in the NBA he should be able to make boatloads of money in Europe, where his game translates exceptionally well on the block. He’s an elite center prospect over there who would likely have an enormous payday waiting for him from Day One, unlike most college players.

GRADE: Exhibit 10 or go overseas and make crazy money
