Ron,

Since our Hoyas have been struggling I have been paying more attention to some of the guys I have trained. Earl Potts has been tearing it up at FDU. 3 time player of the week. 2-3 double/Doubles in his last 4 or so games. He has grown to 6-6 and still has his dribbling skills. Players his height can't stay in front of him so he is killing them off the dribble. Was 4-6 from three the other day with one sending the game into OT and the other winning it at the buzzer. 1.3 left. This will probably get him another player of the week honor. Working his Ass off to be better. Plays every position. Guarding centers when necessary. His dad is getting a highlight video to me soon. I'll forward it to you when I get it. I have seen his work ethic and wish we had Him. His dad wants him at a school with better facilities as he thinks his work ethic and overall desire would have him explode on the scene. Good kid with great academics. Wish he would have been at a higher level out of high school as I would have wanted him at Gtown. He loves Gtown. He heard from a Gtown coach once but knew it was nothing more than a courtesy call. From my watching him these days, he is better than Johnson and Peak(he can finish at the rim and not run over people. His Euro step reminds me of Manu) Dishes when the defense collapses. A Better ballhandler than our entire team combined. Fears no one and will dunk on you(had it happen to me once. Punched him after that so he won't do it to me again.). Jumps out the gym. Type of player who would leave us screaming at Hayes and Govan as he would snatch every rebound from them at his smaller height. Quick off the floor and that is what we are not.
