I've been thinking all we need is a little run of wins to get us onto the bubble, but i'm pretty confident now we have no shot of getting in with saturday's loss. We would legitimately need to win 4 of 5 to end the season (putting us at 18-13) and then make a run to at the finals in the BE tournament. That would get us 20-13 with as many quality wins as any bubble team. Either we go 4-1 (which would include a win vs Nova or Xavier) and win at least 1-2 in NY, or we pretty much have to win the BE tourney, which just aint happening... too many quality teams at the top and we don't have the makeup of a team that can get hot.

I am thinking we wind up beating Seton Hall and Butler at home, losing to Nova and Xavier and the Marquette road game is a toss up. I'd bet we end 2-3, putting our record at 16-15, where we would be forced to win a game in NY to even get in the discussion for an NIT invite.... pretty disappointing. I'm hoping we could make it interesting by winning the next 3 at home, but considering our poor crowds of late and inability to put 40 minutes of good basketball together, I'm not holding my breathe.
