I have a couple of thoughts about realignment and I wonder if anyone here feels the same.
While realignment is nothing new, we are looking at some massive changes in the near term with those schools with money and power, especially in football, looking to consolidate their power and capture more money.
Part of my enjoyment of college sports is the underlying narrative and context. When Missouri no longer plays Kansas in basketball, we all lost. Those were some epic battles. Boston College, Pitt, and Syracuse never fit into the ACC. Shoot Boston College hasn't been heard from since leaving the Big East.
I have no desire to watch Big10 basketball or football. I have no desire to watch SEC basketball or football.
I am pretty close to not having any desire to watch college football and basketball the way things are evolving. Am I alone here?
