Let's play devil advocate for a second. Wanted to get you guys' thoughts on our point guard situation for the 2020 class. Hoyas are recruiting Rj Davis and Isiah Wilson. Clearly Davis is the higher ranked player. And Wilson is the late bloomer that opened coaches eyes this summer at the eybl sessions.
What if Ewing caught is in a situation where Wilson wanted to commit now vs Davis wanting to wait it out until the spring. What should Ewing do at that point. Take Wilson, and we lose out on Davis or tell Wilson we are waiting on Davis' decision first,??? Davis 1A and Wilson 1B...This seem to have happen to JT3 alot when he was at grown and he could never get a grasp on recruiting as a whole. Seemed like we lost out on a bunch guys that may have wanted to come but the staff slow rolled them like they had better options.
