Marshall not shooting well. But will drive. hard
....sag of fhim majorilyh. force him to shoot over contest. i would put mac on him, as he can cheat on the shooting struggles and it will help him try and keep marshall out of lane
Scruggs capable of hiting jumpers…but team not good shooting. Uses cross sceens to free him for midrange. Will pop for three on break
....this is the guy that worries me honestly. he's scoring and making plays. stay attached to this guy. likely keep attached. i might not help off him. good assignment for akinjo or even pickett
Push off misses. alot. and steals
....unlike creighton game, GET BACK!!!
Four around one with jones. He will iso post. Watch jones on offensive rebounds
...he's a load. might be too strong for leblanc, but he's gotta play him. has to be active. would high side or front, make them throw over top. keep moving defensively vs this guy. don't let him beat you down floor, where he establishes position. you must work.
#2 can shoot also. Transfer from Columbia
...just keep an eye on him. he's not a major guy.
Horns offensively, to a motion set. will even put marshall in horns. Will post hankins too. Will post both jones and hankins. Give and go from big after horns
...defenders, especially bigs, have to stay alert. team must communicate. they screen, pop, post out of horns. lots of movement.
Handoffs from elbow.
...jump them hard!
Watch for jones patrolling the baseline for high low action
...this guy is a major factor. leblanc or govan or mourning must be aware and physical.
Go basically 1-4, then have screener (32) come out and pop out.
...depends on ball handler under/over screen. try not to switch. show but but get to popper
Side 2 man game, will kick out off it
...defending big has to play straight up and stop it. push up for ball pressure, making entry and shot difficult. force ball on floor
Little flex screen for bigs
...communicate. if necessary switch.

...worried about this given smallish nature of guards. wall up, make it difficult. maybe double on catch and get ball out of hands.

Sagging man that doubles howard late in shot clock in ball screen. Will switch out of it swarming
...move ball. if they double, hit big, who can score or hit someone else. keep ball jumping

Hankins swiches on guards sometimes. Will hedge hard. in fact he and other bigs were witching on ball screens with howard high and kinda side.
....they did it too much imo. gave too easy chances for howard vs big. use akinjo similarly. If they switch, attack the big james!
in fact, put akinjo in high ball screen action. sure he might take some tough shots. BUT he can break down and find people also.
struggled with Side elevators
...don't remember hoyas with side elevators. but run it up top at least. anything to make x switch or get confused.
