1) Hoyas wanted him badly
2) he was told scholarship was his or youngs...1st one pops get it
3) dude loved his visit. went out with some of the guys. had great time
4) he eliminated k state right before/after hoya visit
4) proximity to NYC was supposedly a selling point
5) received nil from notre dame supporters. amount is unclear (I asked a longtime source hahah)
6) roster construction was an issue. has 2 years left and opted for a team with "way fewer holes"
