article is up front.

imo, hoyas should smash them...all jumpers and transition, but they don't really stop people.

x factor, their 1 2 2 press. per the hoyas:

dsr on whether 1 2 2 energizes them: "i think it does. They're energy definitely is brought up by them pressing, moreso now these last few games than they have in the past".

copes on his role vs 1 2 2: "on the wings, make the right decision, help out the guards when they need assistance and just push the ball and try to score".

jt3 on 1 2 2 energizing them and more utilization of it: "Yes to both questions. it definitely gives them a boost. and they've definitely gone to it earlier for longer stretches, then come back to it than they have. Which is more consistent with how Oliver's teams have been. Usually you play one of his teams you know you're going to be pressed the whole game.

"But they definitely are going to it earlier and staying with it longer. And they're mixing it up; it's the 1 2 2 then they'll go man to man, run and jump...They lull you to sleep into thinking it's the same then they have different looks to it.

"We've worked on all of them, and hopefully we'll take care of the ball".
