Why is DSR shooting the ball so poorly?

Some have suggested it's because he's playing the point-guard position, which has shifted his focus from scoring to running the offense. However, in his best shooting performance of the year, the game against Wisconsin, he played the point, and scored very efficiently. Additionally, the ball handling responsibilities are usually shared with Jabril Trawick and to a lesser degree LJ Peak, so I don't think playing the point is the major reason for his low percentages. DSR is too good a shooter to be so inconsistent from the perimeter. The bottom line is DSR has to improve his practice habits to improve his shooting percentages. Playing the point is not an excuse, and he's more than capable of shooting higher percentages. BJ

"So I'm happy they are recruiting me and looking for me, especially because they are my Dad's old school".
