ITK Question Re: Head Coach Hiring

I joined the board after Ewing was hired and might have missed this convo so apologies if that is the case. After reading the article yesterday that ranked Georgetown the #1 job in the BE and seeing what opposing coaches had to say about how many people were interested in the job last year, is there anyone out there that can add some specifics on the search that people might not know just from reading the media’s take on it? What coaches were legitimately interested? Could we have actually hired a “blue chip” coach outside of Ewing? I personally loved Ewing’s hiring, but I didn’t think we had a shot with some of the top tier coaches.
