it's been known (and mentioned here) that he would likely test waters. which he should.

background on this situation:

came in believing he was one and done.

jt3 actually thought he was two and done

was going to transfer when hayes came back. had to be talked into staying

lost trust of jt3, who tired of govan's nonchalance and seeming refusal to play hard and battle, though a relationship never was strengthened . got a little toxic imo.

that goes for both parties; heard govan even turned down the tutelage of hall of fame pivots.

gets pat as head coach, does well, surpasses his career work. with a caveat: it must be noted good teams stopped really double teaming him, instead opting to double marcus. he wasn't the biggest target defensively for teams. have been told that by folks in the big east. swooned somewhat during end of year. also doesn't take responsibility well.

prognositication: he returns. will have to. late 2nd if anything.
