okay, what i saw last weekend...
is a faciliatator, but not one who is a typical lead guard in the sense of the ball always being in his hands. he generally makes plays for others after attacking from the wing on drives. doesn't pass only if the rim is unavailable. but isn't a primary ball handler guy.
in a way he reminds me of trawick in high school in that regard. better patter than trawick, better shooter. but each made plays for others, but were not really pure pg types.
admitted he needs to bone up on his handles if he's to play pg. see article.
is a solid defender. couldn't really judge well as camden was done. super early.
leads even without ball.
likes to drive and dish. pretty strong on the finish. for next level will have to be stronger with that.
solid shooter...but has a little hitch. can be worked on.
not super quick with the ball. uses body to get by people.
on his weight room work:
"I wouldn't say "big" (weight lifter), but i do lift weighs on a regular basis. I get into the gym with my dad and my team".
for upper body, concentrates on "bench press"
routine - "4 sets, 135 on the first set, then we add weight each time"...exercise is "Regular bench press".
reps are "12-15 to begin with and then it lessens as the weight gets heavier"
in addition to those pyramids, he does "planks and leg raises" for core.
frequency - "during the offseason almost everyday. during the season, once a week".
