i asked him about running so much iso stuff (amongst other things) and his team not executing. he was like his job was to get his players looks/shots. but at some point...they have to make them. and that missing was part of the game.
i think that's missed sometimes by folks. at some point, at some level, players have to make shots.
now we can quibble about teh shots guys are taking. i'm feeling that...
but the hoyas do get shots. and they don't make them. to me at least, the shots they get are the best ones for them...they fit their skill set. they are shooters not drivers. problem is, they are not making shots.
