i'm happy they are not practicing. not just b/c the school prez apparently had NO interest in addressing concerns of racism on campus...but that student athletes need to understand how much power they have in this equation. lots of money is predicated on them.
somebody at mizzou has been teaching/learning as at least on this matter, they are understanding their involvement in this system, and are identifying their interests.
whatever your take on the need to combat racism on campus (a real issue mind you), it seems as though mizzou students (not just footballers) are willing to fight for interests.
could this be a prelude to greater student activism...players or not?
