Barring a miracle run at the Garden, any chance of the tournament is gone and we have serious work to do just to get into the NIT. With that said, what are some things you'd like to see rest of the season? My thoughts are:
1. The continued development of our young back court, specifically learning when/how to create for others and when to look for their own shot. For James, a floater needs to be added to his game to help him finish inside the paint. And for Mac, the continued improvement on that 3pt shot is huge. If he can consistently be a threat out there, he's going to score a ton of points in a Hoya uniform.
2. A turn around for Pickett. His play is a popular topic but if he can even just develop into a solid "3 and D" guy, that would be huge for this team next year.
3. RECRUITING - This may be the biggest thing to watch the rest of the year. Obviously Cole is a pipe dream, but crazier things have happened, right? Getting 1 (or both) of Baugh or Shannon would be a great addition. If Yurt7 really does play for us next year, there is actually some reason for optimism and a guy like Baugh or Shannon could really help us defensively. Wahab would be nice as he seems to be more of an immediate impact guy than the 2 committed big guys we have now. Late additions will again be important for us.
