hopkins was seen crying (as he does) about never getting the job. it was apparent a while ago, as boheim continued to push back his retirement plans.
hopkins was gone.
before his departure to uw and since, their recruiting has gone down. boheim isn't a grinder in that department. red autry is the lead recruiting guy, and he's okay, but he hasn't been hopkins AND he doesn't really have the latitude hopkins may have had.
they are not in a good way now.
