1. I admit I was way too harsh on C. Bile. When he has confidence and does not try to do too much he is a solid player. I pretty much wrote him off and that was a mistake on my part. Hats off to this kid for proving to me and many others that he is a lot better than he showed early.
2. Wahab's inability to finish left is killing me. He tried once to finish off his left side all night last night I believe. When he did, he used his right hand and missed a pretty easy chippy layup by a mile (u may remember its the one where they had to check multiple times if it hit the rim b/c the shot clock was expiring). On one other occasion in the first half he showed right and then used an up and under move to finish past his defender who overcommitted, but he literally has no left side counter move. It is a dang miracle he does not pick up more charge calls. I pray that he works on this during the off season. This kid has potential to be the best low post scorer in a Hoya uniform since Big Mike Sweetney, but he must develop a left handed post move or two and get more comfortable finishing from 4-5 feet in with his left hand. This deficiency gets more glaring to me every time I watch him play.
3. I think Harriss nose for the ball and defensive quickness in last night's game is being overlooked. A huge reason why we won were some of the steals and plays he made. He is gradually improving while playing under tremendous pressure with no real back up available for him as a frosh. Hats off to Dante Harris too.
