My post game thoughts

Sorber is as advertised. Very impressed. Starters overall looked good offensively except they took some ill advised shots and 3 pt shooting was poor.
Bench - Yikes, We do not look very deep at all.
Defense - did not look good or much improved. Guys in poor weakside and help position and sometimes sliding when they did not have to. Needs a lot of improvement.
McDonough - need more games there. Atmosphere looked so much better than downtown for OOC game.
Overall a mixed bag.

practice notes 11.14.24

wide ranging session including defensive, offensive schemes, plus some film and scout, along with drills

film consisted of fast break/early offense spacing/ordering

cwill - played at a high level, both sides of the ball
jb - shot really well. was on beam
srober - was energetic competiting with teammates
julius -working into form
seal - hoyas could use his stoutness. also was his 18th bday. for the record, thomas and julius and caleb are confirmed 18. im old. hahah
mack - almost caught an oop
epps - was kinda quiet
peavy - adult who hit some shots
mckenna - didn't play much. dont know why
caleb - quiet today

Starting to think

Having those two little guards playing basically all the guard minutes might be tricky

One way to compensate?

Thr emergence of another big at the 5, woukd allow Peavy to be more of a wing. One that checks rhe foes best periketer guy

Or start giving mulready more minutes.

Or break them up?

I haven't decided yet. Seeking input.

practice notes 11.8

defense was the focus. staff is unhappy with that. shocked even.

players

cwill hit midrange
peavy - leading, slashing, shooting
jules - had a turnover cooley loved due to sprinting the floor, catching ball and fumbling it.
sorber - solid
burks - energy with backups
epps - struggled shooting some
mack - is embracing leadership
