OFFENSIVELY

they've largely returned to the flex offense. in it, they find bullock all over the place...in the lane, mid range, three. he's the focal point. has the green light.

bigs like bullock will flex out to deep corner and elbow extended, after setting pick

they will also iso for bullock. will also run staggers with pop out with bullock.

HOYAS must not lose them...have a propensity to lose the corners imo. communication of course is key. who checks bullock in man? it's key.

will also handoff weave. and uses ball screen and spread actions. add floppy stuff. bascially if the flex isn't working, they will try a lot of stuff.

x factor is lindsey imo...he can shoot and drive. has become much stronger. is inconsistent.

cartright makes them go...he's more under control now.

HOYAS CANNOT cede easy baskets off push or offensive rebounds. easy points is how provy wins.

DEFENSIVELY

provy runs a lot of man, but does have 2-3 in arsenal. the man can be a sagging man (pack line type). skips can defeat it

have also token pressured with 1 2 2, back to the 2 3. have also gone 2 1 2 token press.

the 2 3 is more of a match up type.

HOYAS must remember they have bigs. get them the ball early. imo it's a soft spot for provy. read govan and derrickson POSTING. peak too from the midpost. inside out is key.

also run against them.

GUYS

they don't have an answer for pryor or peak really. but hoyas don't really have an answer for bullock.

junior college transfer holt is a bright spot around the cup.

13 freshman forward young can score inside and out.
