With educational funding so much in flux, and the crackdown on intl students, a pool that Gtown relies on more than most, and potential increased taxes on endowments, I suspect that any chance that GU Admin is going to invest in a McDonough upgrade or new arena in Rosslyn etc. is virtually zero under the current administration. I think most universities are now trying to limit spending because many of their income streams could be curtailed and their tax liability could be materially increased. There is a real war going on against universities by this administration and it does not appear to be going away anytime soo. To pretend that Georgetown will not be adversely influenced by it, is fairly ignorant, in my opinion.
