Guess we can look forward now -- nothing else really to do

I am assuming that it is a matter of time until Alexander is gone. Not sure about Gardner but I'll leave him off this too for the time being.

For me there are two ways Ewing can go with the starting lineup -- big or small. I hope he chooses big.

Big:

PG Allen
SG McClung
SF Pickett
PF Wahab (is there really another option here?)
C Yurt7

commentary -- you'd have to play zone more or this doesn't work -- is Ewing able to adapt to the current state of his roster? That is a huge question for me going forward. If he doesn't, then a college head coaching job just isn't for him. Go back to coaching adults in the league even as an assistant.

Small: seems like Ewing will choose this

PG Allen
SG McClung
Wing Mosely
Wing Pickett
C Yurt 7

we should see some increased minutes somewhere --- it better not be Blair who unfortunately is not a high major caliber talent.

I think the guy who is going to benefit the most from yesterday is Yurt7. He produced at a high level considering he was playing with an overly ball-dominant point guard. Someone mentioned that Yurt7 should leave now and focus on the draft. I disagree. He has the opportunity to show out.

My guess is we will see some minutes from someone unexpected like Ighoefe or Wilson. Not sure where guard minutes are going to come from. One of the walkons will probably have to sniff. With the 4 rotation players not playing (2 left, 2 in limbo), we have a rotation of about 6 players left. That's gotta get to 9. And Blair most likely will have to play as guards are extremely limited now.

What does everyone think. There is still some talent in here and maybe we find a diamond in the rough. One can only pray. I actually think it might be a pretty interesting team to watch although wins might be at a premium. As long as McClung doesn't think he has to do everything, we could see some chemistry improvement as well.
