Last night I attended the Cal at Duke game in Cameron Indoor Arena. I have been to many other on campus arenas where top 25 teams have played including Maples Pavillion when Stanford was very competitive, St. Marys McKeon/Kevin Nagle Court, McArthur Court (Oregon), and others. I have no idea what the obstacles would be to getting a 5000-7500 seat arena built right across the river, but it would make an absolutely huge difference for our basketball program and could even help the women's program. I hope they can find a way to get it done.
