It is important to (a) not have another bad loss OOC and (b) to win at least 2/3 from Charlotte, Cuse and CT. If we can do that, then I think a winning record in the Big East would be enough to get us into the Dance.
Of course, my hope is that we can go 3-0 v. these three quality OOC opponents and compete for first in the Big East regular season and end up (a) in the top 3 regular season and (b) the final game in the tournament with a chance to win it. If we do that, we should be able to get a 5 seed or better.
However, if things do not turn out as well as I hope in these 3 games or we crap on ourselves against Monmouth or someone else we will have consequences.
It sure would be nice to knock off Cuse and Charlotte this month which would likely get us ranked and would likely result in a 9-3 OOC record going into BE season and 3 losses by a combined 8 points with 2 coming to teams that will likely be in top 5. Anything short of that start to put more pressure to have a standout Big East record.
