I am on a few different social media outlets for Georgetown Athletics and Georgetown basketball.
I just have to say that I am just so elated at his social presence. I have seen him with students at the soccer game. I have seen him in so many pictures with recruits. I have seen him with his players giving back to the community. He is out there and I really feel he means it from the heart. There does not appear to be any angle for him.
He is definitely not mailing it in as the head coach of our squad considering his difficulties getting anywhere in the head coaching ranks of the NBA. I think this will be a HUGE asset for our program going forward. Yes he is a legend. But he's not relying on that only.
I wonder if the local scene is already taking notice. How could they not be?
