this comes from the second half of their game with tennessee last night.

Badgers are a slower team, can be sped up. hoyas need to attack that. they gave up a 17 point lead first half lead and went down in the second, in part due to UT's aggressive perimeter defense. UW were on their heels.

came back due to a zone defense...YES a zone. the badgers NEVER did that previously, but this year have used one periodically . a 3 2/1 2 2 variety.

they look to the forward nigel hayes...who attacks in the paint and from midrange. he's a beast

also, guard bronson koenig must be corralled. he not only spots up, but drives (particularly left), where he finishes with both hands.

Hoyas must press...but also change defenses. whatever you do, track this koenig guy who can kill in drifts, drives and lifts.

UW still runs that active, motion offense. communication is key becasue they are moving, much of it around the paint, receiving screens.

you can take some of these guys off the bounce, but when driving ,be aware of rotating defenders; that pack line defense seems to keep guys in your face.
