watched maybe three of their games. some more than others.

offensively

they looked solid in the princeton, when running it thru grant golden. yeah, that grant golden who gave hoyas like 25 and 12 @ richmond last year. he can shoot, pass and post.

they looked more mature AT TIMES in Princeton, mre continuity in five out. Golden shoots out to three and in paint and midrange. they will cut.

Will cut, as princeton's do

sherod seems to really want to get ball into paint and score. strong.

gilyard is fast and attacks. at all three levels.

attack their offense by:

maybe doubling golden on the move, he might dissect you trapping on the catch.

i would zone, but hoyas not doing it.

akinjo can't lose gilyard. leblanc should go at sherod physically.

press to slow them down, put on heels. tire gilyard

sag off them a tad. they are not really pure shooters. should slow cutters. doesn't apply to that golden guy. make his life hard, all day

defensively:

most effective is a match up zone type scheme, that sometimes looks man. nothing else really stood out.

attack their defense by:

getting ball inside out. make golden defend, play off govan.

pick and roll...1/5...1/3-4, even 1/2. make spiders make decisions. not the BEST defenders in the world.

don't get frustrated by that 2 3 matchup. run cutters through it. maybe horns it, where you can then go high low, or overload. make their defense react. stay patient.

Maybe attack with two bigs in paint vs Golden. he seems to have scant help.
