Ok I've read some of the scathing comments on our board and agree with some. Ive been fairly forthcoming in the ways I believe our Hoyas must change, much of it being cultural in genesis
That said it's important to remember: the hoyas lost 2 all rookie guys from last year incl the ROY in big east, plus a 6 8 wing and a 6 5 rugged rookie . in December
Im saying this to make the point: gtown has remade itself on the fly with less than a full hand of cards
The Hoyas need horses. Options. And they don't have them
Its a reason with 6 min to go in halves, particularly the 2nd, they fade.
They have 1 bucket getter in mcclung. 2 counting yurts but hes not playing as such.
When plays have to be made, 1 guy is making them. Everybody else is going pretty much off scheme
Ill argue all day a cultural shift needs to occur. And conceede some schematics can be altered.
Ill also argue the players at hand (or not) are intimately the coaches' responsibility. When you bottom line it.
But as of right now, Hoyas don't have the horses, which I've said since the exodus occurred.
Thoughts?
