checked out some of the marquette game...until it seemed in hand.

offense:

Robinson runs the show.

Allows robinson and curry to attack of dribble…quick offense

Robinson screen action

Spreads floor well…allowing robinson to find guys. alot of five out with duck ins/cuts to four around 1

christian has been quoted as saying he wants "35 threes a game". wow.

how to attack it:

Force robinson into threes - not good from there. in fact, go under all sceens for him. even blitz him at times. keep waves coming. he CAN get out of control, so try and speed him up

since they are really good at spacing...and will slip a screener in a second...COMMUNICATE! if you are silent, they can get you.

don't leave the shooters too much, as they really want to get those off. that includes off of robinson running hammer to the corners. as a result defending initial drive is crucial. again, blitz him sometimes...or hard hedge. don't let him be unfettered.

defense:

played a lot of man (vast majority that i saw).

will pick up with two man trap after makes, then fall back to man

Will slip a screener in a second…due to good spacing. Communicate!

Will pick up frull court man, then double after first pass

how to attack it:

are suspect inside, so exploit it through iso and duck ins. feed govan and derrickson in that paint!

post others like pickett and mosely.

screen robinson. wear him down

throw over pressure if possible.

good time to clear help and let a ball handler handle the pick up full court. who??

when picking up full court man (and face guarding the first pass, bring a big up to receive and turn. sprint down for the outlet style pass.
